Summer Body Institute Presents: Activate

The most important thing in any workout is conscious activation of the targeted muscle or muscle groups. Activate is a dynamic core workout with a primary focus on activating the big 4 muscle groups of the core; the internal and external obliques, transverse abdominis and the rectus abdominis. There will be a thorough total body warmup to lead us into the session, followed by mat work and partner drills, ending with a proper stretch. Improvements in movement and longevity will thank you for making this class a regular part of your week!
