Meet the Artist: Judith Braun

  • HUB seventeen 114 5th Avenue New York, NY, 10011 United States (map)

Come meet Judith Braun, the artist who created our meditative and mysterious Hub Seventeen mural.

Judith will share some inside scoop about her (long) winding road as an artist.  In other words, how to keep working towards your goals no matter what!  She likes to say, "I'm making lemonade!".

Seriously speaking, this artist has two solo exhibitions up in New York City, now, through April 24. Read this rave review by art critic, Thomas Micchelli, http://hyperallergic.com/289593/fearless-symmetries-judith-brauns-carbon-based-art-forms/

So, hurry out to see "Homeostasis", at McKenzie Fine Art, 55 Orchard St, on the Lower East Side, and "Crazy Bitch", at Simuvac Projects, 99 Norman Ave, in Greenpoint.  And if that's not enough, both are subjects of this month's notorious artcritical.com Review Panel, April 12, 7-9 pm, at the Brooklyn Public Libraray, 10 Grand Army Plaza.

Braun also has a newly installed fingerprint wall drawing in the lobby of the chic Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, 80 Wythe Ave, that is open to the public.

So don't miss this opportunity to meet, ask questions, be inspired, and have some fun! Drinks will be provided.
