About Michael Bjerrum

Michael is one of Copenhagens leading yoga teacher. 

Michael has been teaching yoga for 10 years and was registered RYT-200 hatha yoga teacher in 2010. Michael started yoga due to curiosity and severe back pains. After one year of yoga only curiosity remained and still remains as his driving force towards becoming an even better teacher. Michael is experienced in many forms of yoga. Anusara yoga is now his main source of inspiration. He has trained with some of the world's best yoga teachers. Michael's teaching is based on a thorough knowledge of anatomy and movement patterns. He has extensive experience with restorative yoga - after injuries and to rebuild bodily strength. Michael emphasises that all his students have a good experience, and feel themselves to be seen and welcomed.

Learn about the issues surrounding girls' education in developing countries, move and sweat in an all-levels vinyasa yoga class and unwind and recharge with reiki and aromatherapy.  All proceeds from this afternoon will go directly to the Souljourn Yoga Foundation.

Souljourn Yoga is a 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization with a focus on raising awareness and funds for girls' education in developing countries through global yoga retreats and local events. For every participant going on a Souljourn Yoga Retreat, $300-500 of the total amount of the cost of retreat will be donated directly to the participating girls organization that we will be meeting, embracing, and learning about on our trip abroad.
